springs/coilovers

I have a set of megan racing springs and kyb gr-2 shocks on my 92 240sx. The ride quality is horrible/ like i hit my head on the roof when i go over moderate bumps. They perform well but i was wondering if there were springs that still performed well but had a slightly better ride quality. Does anyone know anythin about tien s-stecs or other good springs? Also is there any good coilovers that are non adjustable and cheap?

??? wow dont hit bumps at 100 mph and that wont happen. I think coilovers are alot stiffer than springs. I have tein type flex and i have never hit my head on the damn roof. Of course when i see the pot hole in front of me i swerve...i guess you just blast em. I live in missouri too, i think we lead the country in bad road quality, unless thats changed over the years. ANd when it comes to coilovers...dont get anything cheap, you get what pay for.

coilovers are over doing it if you want more of a comfortable ride. maybe you should've gotten drop springs instead since they only lower the car and do not stiffen your suspensions as much as racing springs... well that was obvious.

Wearing your seat belt might help :dunno:

How low is your car? The only way I could see shocks and springs being that bad is if you are riding on the bump stops.

And if you lead the country, then Montreal leads the continent, it's like driving through a warzone, there's potholes big enough to rip your axle out, there was this one pothole that got so big, a dump truck got stuck in it.

o shit lol thats funny logik. Im saying that i think missouri leads the country and i have never hit my head and i have coils. So i dont see how he does with springs and shocks unless he's playing dukes of hazard or some shit.

He probably is playing that stuff, I bet he painted his car orange with a big 01 on the side.
