2005 Quest NVIS problems

Here is a story of a $25,000 junker that won't start.

2005 Quest, hardly two weeks old craps out while we are grocery shopping. The NVIS system immobilized the van for some reason. The key won't even turn in the ignition. Had to get my neighbor come and pick the whole family up from the grocery store.

All this happened on a frigid Saturday evening at 8.30pm when Nissan dealership is closed and there is no Nissan afterhours service line.

Has any one else run into this trouble??

I've had a similar problem twice. They replaced the battery once and say they still can't find a problem.
