95 safari leaf springs

leaf springs are shot does anyone know how to beef them up or do you have to replace them. looks like alot of hard work to replace.

Dad, My 95 Safari had the same problem. They made the springs out of fiberglass! They snapped! Replacing them isn't such a bad job but my suggestion to you is to replace them with real steel springs. I'm in Canada and almost fell over when I priced the originals from the dealer, almost $1000.00 each!
I found that you can buy after market steel replacement springs for around $400.00 for a set, That does both sides costing less than half of each fiberglass one.
