Almost Lost Me Tonight

well folks i was involved in a 3 car pileup tonight, and to be honest im a little shaken up by the whole ordeal.
anyway ill describe this as best i can, since i dont have pics of the actual event in action, ill do the best i can.
i was traveling southbound on a 2-lane double yellow line road(one lane each direction) i was driving my car 2003 accord, following a 1994 accord, with my parents in a 1995 cavalier behind us. in my car was my granny, my sister and her friend. my parents in the cavy with my brother, and a couple of strangers in the accord up front.
the road for us going southbound is a tight upward left hander, no more than 20mph. A 1990 ford taurus wagon was coming northbound, so downward and to the right for him. the taurus must have lost control going id say almost 45-50mph around that turn and struck the 94 accord off center, like left headlight on taurus, to the left headlight on the 94 accord. the taurus did a 3/4 roll onto its side, with now the ass end of the car facing me, at this point i swerved to the right as hard as i could and just leaned over to 1, protect myself, and 2, cover my granny up from any fling debris. the roof of the taurus struck my car ass first and ricocheted back into the northbound lane facing the wrong direction back on its wheels.
i immediatly asked if everyone is ok, especially my granny, she is 91 yrs old. they all said they were fine, and i got out to check on the other drivers, taurus first as it was closer, they both said they were fine, so i ran over to the old accord. a woman in the back seat was in shock and had cut her arm up pretty badly. the driver a guy maybe in his 80's was sitting very close to his wheel so when the airbag popped it hit his chest hard and he was complaing of pains. everyone seems like they would be alright, thankfully no serious injuries.
during this whole episode however, we had just come from dinner, and my brother had to take a shit so bad, that he actually unzipped his pants, and un-did his belt just to feel more comfortable. he said after he saw the taurus land, he quickly zipped up, i thought that was pretty funny.
i will make diagrams and upload pics as soon as i can.

damn, that's crazy, I hope everyone will be alright,
I thought you were going to say "we had just come from dinner, and my brother had to take a shit so bad, that he actually unzipped his pants, and un-did his belt and took a shit right there on the side of the road"

rofl, i thought you were gonna say that too!
But thank goodness everyone was alright. People need to take those curves slower, it could've been a whole lot worse. I hope the ppl in the ford has their auto insurance go through the roof!

+1 that noone was hurt man, i would never wish this on ANYONE.
i was involved in something kind of similar, only i wasnt the one who crashed.
i was going northbound on 405 right on the seattle exit by lynnwood (i live in lynnwood so i take that exit to i-5 and then get off on 196th if any of you know where this is). well anywho...the seattle exit is a really sharp turn, maybe 25-30 mph and its an overpass, so it goes over a bunch of trees until it gets down to i-5 right blow it. it had just started raining when me and my girlfriend got off on the exit, some lady had hit the k-rail on the side of the exit and flipped her car, and was completly turned around with her headlights facing me and the car upside down. it was a surprise to see a car flipped over and turned around when i came off the exit, so i immediatly stopped right next to her car, put my hazards on, and ran over to see if she was ok. she was still strapped in her car and had cut her arm up pretty bad. i yelled at my girlfriend to get on the phone with EMS and get them over here. as i assessed (sp?) the situation, i splinted her arm up with an issue of Honda-Tuning (it was my FAAVORITE issue but..i needed it more than i wanted it). i could tell that a disc in her back was dislodged, but there was nothing i could do about it but get her comfortable. layed my coat down on the ground and slowly pulled her out and checked for further injuries. i wrapped the splint with my t-shirt (i ripped it off and tore it into shreds), and then wrapped the cloth around her shoulder so it was supported. about 5 minutes after my gf called EMS, they were on the scene, i let them know of what i found as they took over.
good thing i had just become certified as an EMT not more than two weeks prior. i left my information with EMS before i left, and got a call saying that my quick response saved her life because i guess she had more internal injuries that i didnt know of.
so if you get in a wreck its good to have me in the car!!
