My 'exciting' trip to the junkyard..and back..

Okay, I went to return to CAP (Chesterfield Auto Parts) to take back my old radiator, to get a core exchange (where you bring back your old part for money.) Anyways, I was I95, and got stuck behind a big dump truck. Not just a big dump truck, but more like a 6 axle dump truck. Anywho, I had to follow this MOFO for sometime while stones and shit were flying out the back hitting my car. Fucker. Then I get over a lane so this shit doesnt hit me, and to pass. I didnt fly by him, I wasnt going much over 10mph faster then him, so i inch by him, going 5 or 10 mph over the posted limit, I get right next to this sun of a bitch, and he fucking gets over...INTO MY LANE! I quickly swerve over to avoid this accident. I wasnt even in this mother fuckers blind spot. I WAS RIGHT FUCKING NEXT TO HIM. Anyways, then some girl was in the very left lane on her fucking cell phone, going fucking 45 in a fucking 65 zone. FUCKING IDIOT. I nearly had to slam on my brakes. I didnt expect her to be going that fucking slow. Then, that big ass dump truck passes me, and a line of traffic behind him does so. There was finally a break in the traffic, so I get over 3 lanes. For once, the 4R70W down shifts immediatly, the RMPs jump, and I am liberated by the sound of the 4.6L V8. I keep my foot in it because I needed to get back over into the left lane because I95 splits.

I finally arrive at the junkyard... almost zero parking spaces, but I finally get one. I ended up parking next to the SHITTIEST 240SX on the face of this planet. It had chrome fender flares, 3-spoke wheels without any centercaps, 2 chrome exhaust tips, a broken wing outlined with that chrome crap that outlines your doors, some more of that crap along the doors also, but instead of being chrome, it was gold! faded red paint, gold pinstriping, and.....6 APC STICKERS! YAY!. 2 3foot long APCs on the door, 2 on the front fender, and 2 on the hatch window.

I get inside, and the guy working there is fooling around on his walkie-talkie with his work buddies. He finally waits on me, and I ask him for my core change. Now, this is my second radiator so it had the CAP marker on it, but its older then the 30day refund period, so I'll get my core $4. The guy looks at the CAP tag, and says "Heres your $37." That was a suprise...:)

I decide to check out the yard, see if theres anything intrest. A 97 Thunderbird WITHOUT the center console..ARRGH!..then I found a 99 Mercury Sable, it had some really nice wheels. From a newer model I think. Really nice with machined face and the inside painted silver. They also had some good tires. No-Namers, but almost brand new! The front two had about %30 tread left, the back ones still had the paint lines on them. I take them off, grab a wheel barrow, and take these sub bitches to the front register (almost a mile away...30 acre yard, and FORD lot all the way in the back!. Alltogether these bastards cost $230. No way. I paid $130 for my 16x7 SC wheels at the same lot (they actually charged me for 15" wheels). I really did like these Sable wheels, but not for $230. I leave them there, dissapointed, but make my way on home.....

My gas gauge is a little low, and with this 'OMG BIG ICE STORM COMMING' i decide to fill up. I stop at Kroger because im a "KROGER PLUS" customer and get a discount. The pumps are crowded as a bitch. I finally spot an open one, but I needed to back up to it. I pull past it, throw it in reverse, and start to roll back, and out of the corner of my mirror, this white Grand Prix flys right behind me, I slam on the brakes, and watch this idiot roll right into that pump..I watch the fucker get out. The totally oblivious soccer mom. I could have strangled her. I get out of there in a hurry (Anger=Heavy right foot), and go to 711 down the road for gas. I fill up, and go inside to pay. I wait in a long line, I'm the second person when some idiot kids cant decide what hot dog they want. Jesus. Well..I did get home finally..in one piece..

dude that sucks. But hey, at least you got 37 bucks instead of 4. Thats a tank of gas, "and a bag of chips".... lol... man, I think I'm laughing harder about that than I should be...

Lol, soccer moms..gotta love them. Today, i broke my fog light..AND threw out my back shoveling my mothers car out. Along with that....well....i took my car to the car wash, cause we still got like 20 inches snow in the back, and it's pointless to get out the hose, and look like a looney bin...

Anyway, they hardly dried my f*cking car.. Lol, i drove to dunkin to get a coffee..i get out..i got sheets of ice on my hood and trunk..

BTW, these are those car washes you sit in your car as it goes through, so i was a lazy ass..and didn't get out to check if they dried the shit..

thats why you carry a gun in your car, for days like that. . .ahh the sound of a 9mm glock. . .

I hate people who are to wrapped up in there fucking cell phones, Id just like to reach out my window, break through their window, grab their phone, and run it over. Idiots what really ticks me off the most are people going the exact same speed next to eachother in 2 or more lanes! AHHH!

would ya be willin to part out that center console? :)

Its a 96. I plan on taking a bunch of stuff off it and putting it on my next bird. What parts did you want from a 97? And where do you live? I may be able to find you a center console from a 97. I noticed thats what you were looking for. I got one from a junkyard, and I believe there were more there. I dont want to sell my console because I painted it. If you want though, I might could possibly maybe paint one for you if you like the job I did on mine. It came out real nice, but you could probably do it too, it just takes patience. Oh, theres a chance I might buy a 97, and then use the parts from my 96 on it, so I may end up having a bunch of spare 97 pieces. Anyways, just lemme know what you want in case it works out that way.

Yeh, the painting is pretty cool, but yea, thats mostly what I want, the center console INSERT/TRIM. Not the entire thing itself, just the part with the cupholders. I REALLY need DECENT cup holders..
