Hello.
I have a '96 Eclipse GST, and recently, something has been drawing off the battery. I had the alternator tested, as well as the battery, and both check good. If I let the car sit for more then an entire day, its dead when I go to start it.
Heres what I have done to troubleshoot the problem:
-Disconnected the positive battery cable, one large cable, two small white ones.
-Checked all three cables to ground. Large cable has large megaohms, first small has large megaohms, last small one has 745 ohms.
-Traced the small cable to a fuse box on the passenger side of the engine.
-Began pulling fuses, when I got to the ignition switch circuit, it started to read high ohms.
-As a last resort, I replaced the cable terminals, and it seemed to work for 2 weeks. Im at the end of my wits, I have to get this fixed.
Can anyone help me?
Arval, poor and helpless.
