pcv valve/hose clogged

I am trying to replace the PCV valve on my 89 lx 5 sp sedan and would like some help. Keep in mind that I'm a N00b. :smile: I unclamped the clamps, but I can't get to the PCV valve. The rubber hose is totally clogged and won't come off. I am pretty I've got the right hose (the one going straight down from the breather hose). Do I need to grease it up or something? Where is the hose in relation to the breather hose??Please help! thanks. Is the PCV valce inside the hose?
