2005 impreza rs exhaust

my bros got a 2005 impreza rs anyone know where i can find an exhaust for that year...

How hard have you searched?

ive done some xtensive searching ive only found things for the wrx or sti,s which even if they bolt up the same he doesnt want a 3 inch pipe...

Obviously they don't bolt up the same, but there is an extensive aftermarket for the RS, and it's not exactly hidden.

like i said none of those are for the 2005, unless your telling me the are the same...i found tons for the 98-2001 but i dont beleive they fit

I said those were examples, I did not say those were for a 2005.
Did you see anywhere in my post where I did say they were?
Those were an example of what I found with only a basic online search, simply proving that if you searched hard enough you could most definitely find what you want, since they are available.

As to whether they will fit the '05, with minor modification they will.

well i know all the places to find stuff for wrx's sti's and odler gen rs's but i was asking if anyone knew where to find exhaust for newer ones because obviously my searching didnt work out too well...as for your exaples it doesnt really help me when im looking for a 2005 application...but thanks for the help

Hey I have a 05 RS too. The most that I have done exhaust wise is I bought a universal muffler (fart-pipe) and it didn't fit that well if I just cut the pipe and welded it. So, I built a 2.5" diameter pipe that went from the cut-off, about 3/4 way down the chassis, to the muffler.

I also have searched for a bolt on exhaust system for it, but I couldn't find it. The closest that I have found is a 04 exhaust system and I don't think that much changed from the 04 to the 05 model. Anyway, my dad owns a speedshop so I figured Ill just built my own exhaust.
