rear coolant leak

Anyone know if there is a sensor or freeze plug at the
top rear driver side of the motor? (on the head)
ON these cold days I'm getting a coolant leak until the motor
warms up a little. Even with a mirror I can't get a good
look from any angle. I hope it's not the head.
No coolant being burned or in the oil.

Most likely the intake is leaking

Just had the same problem and my leak was at the intake manifold(98 Blazer). My leak sounds very similar to yours talonx. I was not losing much coolant just on cold days, like you explained. After investigating the leak further I could see where it was running between the intake and the head. It travels to the rear of the motor then exits to the ground.

Hope this helps.
