I just got my Redtop SR to start in my 240. It then idles at just under 1000rpm and then slowly it stalls out)
What could be the cause of this?
Thanks

ok the vacuum lines for my SR are as follows: One of the lines(larger one) starts from top of throttle body and goes to the HKS BOV. The smaller top line goes to the Fuel pressure regulator. The 3rd line goes to the igniter chip and I have a T so it connects both lines that originate from the igniter chip. Could it be the throttle position sensor?
I am not using the Charcoal canister if that helps. Also recently my HKS BOV shot out Oil. and my engine smells like burnt pancakes

Your BOV threw oil?? lolllll

BOV threw oil? Pull off one of the intercooler pipes and check for oil in them. If this is the case, then the turbocharger's oil seals are bad. Also check the oil level of your engine. If overfilled, then the oil may be backing up in the drain line. Also try spinning the compressor wheel by hand. It should spin freely. If not, bearing failure is the cause. If this is the case, consider having the turbocharger rebuilt or buying a new unit.
As for the stalling, the problems above may be relevent, but more than likely not the cause. Consider the fuel system and ignition system as suspects. Check compression as well.

also when I got my SR harness back(modified) it did not have a male plug that matched up with the SR throttle position sensor female side. It was a small brown plug that wasnt even close to matching. We cut that off and have replaced that with the KA male throttle position sensor plug. has anyone else had to do this with their SR? if so what color wires do we use. Cuz there are 6 wires and I do not know which ones to use. If we did something wrong...or no one has had to use the KA TPS what did you use?
Thanks
Thanks

Sounds alot like my car when you start up your car if you rev it a bit are you able to keep it from stalling out?

Unplug the TPS and see if it idles then. Your car should idle without the TPS plugged in.
