this is in reference to my post in Accord Forum - it has basic bolt-ons for the F23 motor & dyno sheets to show increase in the power curve. this appeared in the Import Tuner mag couple months ago.

That's pretty amazing to have to spend almost $1300 to just get a few extra ponies.

Are you surprised? That's how all small-displacement engins(imports) are. Much more expensive(b/c of "advanced technological research") and a lot less power being made. Now of course, I'm comparing this to a small block, 5.7 liters of power-making displacement. Gains for i/h/e on a small-block Chevy are typically in the 30 - 50 hp range, and the three will cost you about $700 total, while the same mods on a small engine like a Honda I4 will cost you over a grand, and gains will be far less, typically 10 - 20 hp for all three. This isn't bashing imports, just stating the facts. Smaller engine don't benefit or respond as well to power mods as do large engines. A 6 liter Honda V8 will gain a ton more than a 1.8 liter Chevy engine, it has nothing to do with who makes the engines.
