keyless entry remote, should i have one

i noticed a thread on "keyless entry" made me think, i bought my blazer used did all of the 98 4x4 ls's have keyless remotes? if so can i get one somewhere?

This is a pretty popular question. Not all '98 Blazers have keyless entry. I thought mine did because it had power door locks, but the dealer told me that if you don't have AUO on the list of RPO codes (sticker in the glove box), then you don't have keyless entry. I'm thinking about buying one of those remote starter kits from AutoZone since it will give me keyless entry plus the remote start thing (which is nice). They are around $80 I think.

k how do i tell if i do in my glove box? what do i look for? thanks for ur help, ya remote start would be nice for winter

Look at the sticker on the bottom of the glove box. Look for AU0. If it's there, it's set up for Keyless Entry, just need to program correct transmitters.
