dashboard removal?

I am removing the dashboard on an 1988 SR5 reg cab pickup. The drivers side components all came out fine, but I am having trouble getting out the passenger side. I have removed the screws underneath, but there seems to be something pinning it down in the back. Does anybody know what kind of hardware is back there and where it is? Or should I try to force it as is? Thanks.
