just a quick question for you all. i was lookong at headlight covers for my 02 gp gt, probaly the dark smoke ones. Will these make the headlight worse? without them now at night the brights just suck and the normal lights are ok. i live in Nebraska, and live around alot of skinny highways with alot of deer, i was curious if the light quality will be worse.
and my other question is on the heated seats. i have the drivers haeted but not the pass. has anyone istalled one of those kits fof the pass? seen easyperformance.com's set up for it. looks not to hard but wondering whos done it and how bad it was. its freakin cold here, so if its a pain i'll wait till the snows gone but if anyone says it easy i'll attempt it now.
thanks

If you think the lights are bad now, add darker lens cover.
Have heated seats (in Florida.) Have two friends that have them in Michigan. Their wifes love them for it.

everyone knows that the headlights already suck. if it wasn't for the fog lights i wouldnt be able to see. i put the tinted covers on and CRAP i cant see anything. i can see about 5-8 feet in front of me. you put the brights on and you lose the fog lights. so its a lose lose situation. i live in ohio, and i was driving in a bad snow storm. i had to pull off of the road and rip the covers off so i could see to get home.

no, the covers will hinder the ability of your headlights, here in minnesota, they are illegal on public roads, showroom use only.

yea them fog lights help alot, exept i always have people flash me at night when the fogs are on. but when i pull my brights there so dull it doesnt show them they are the normal headlights.

Yeah the lights suck, I think here soon I'ma put halogen lights on my car so i can see...... especially after the bad snow storms we were havin here in Ohio this year. They're illigal here I think if they're aftermarket?? Im not sure tho. Would the angel eyes fog lights help too?

is it just the design inside the headlight that just doesnt reflect well? if it is after 6 years im surprised no company made a aftermarket headlight that does reflect better, they'd make a killin

passenger heated seat... without it you feel guilty right? Well you don't have to, its not a tough job if you know anything about wiring. I put pads in pass seat in about an hour and for about a hundred bucks, and yes your gf/wife will love you for it

i guess its just me, but I think the fog lights SUCK. I cant tell the difference when they are on or off.
I'm going to be buying the headlight covers as well. I'm going to replace the bulbs in both the headlights and the fog lights. Will cost about $60 for 4 lights, suppose to be one of the brightest you can get

I have headlight covers on my 99 GTP and i have Silverstar Bulbs for the headlights and fog lights. I have no problem seeing at night with the upgraded bulbs. Personally, the headlight covers add a nice touch to a white GTP. Makes it look mean and makes the ricers get out of the way

I also have silverstar headlights which did make some difference seeing at night, and no i don't have covers.. You may want to raise your foglights a bit if they make no difference. I just drive on dim with my fogs on and have no trouble on the highway.
by the way, wiring in the passenger heated seat: here is a tip: there is a wiring harness runs past the passenger seat below the doorcill. In there is plenty of ingition power, i used the window power which has room to play on the fuse for the particular pads i used. Chances are your aftermarket pads will be less than half as hot as the factory in the drivers seat lol

Hey, ive got a 98 GTP, i put on the AVS headlight covers (smoke) and have all stock lights...i can see fine with the fogs on along with the dims, so id say go for it, I've also got a PerfectFit car bra, and the car looks great with the entire front end blacked out...I also disabled the DRLs, so its black even when the car is on
Have fun with whatever you choose...all GPs look great unless you rice em out...lata cuz
