Howdy all. I'm in the process of building a 1986 Ramcharger for a mud racerand my steering col. is shot. I'm talkin' 1/2 turn of the steering wheel before the wheels turn, and have been having a problem finding a col. for it. Anybody know whereto get one that won't kill my checkbook? Thanks in advance.

I've owned 3 70's Ramchargers, and all 3 i had the same problem, not the column itself, but the "rag joint" bout $70 (Canadian) for a rebuild kit at the dealer.

Damn, this thread didn't go anywere. ve3rnx, I have replaced everything except the column itself. I can grab the sterring wheel and move it about 6 inches in any direction and the switch is shot. If anyone knows where to get a good column out of another Ramcharger or a late '80s 3/4 ton dodge truck, it would be greatly appreciated if you could PM me.
