ok heres the deal ( sounds like ross perrot doesn't it?)
since a few days the breaks where acting funny.. and one morning they were almost gone.. i hade brake on the driver side front wheel and passenger side back wheel... its a cross circuit.. nothing wrong wit that.. but i had nothing on the other two.. since i was not equipped in this stupid cold temperature that wont go away to check it out, i went to a shop i know not far from here.. they diagnose the master cylinder.. and check all 4 wheels to make sure.. they found a humid-oily front caliper .. so at 30$..while your already there with the wheels off, what the heck.. change it too...so i got out of there ( that was 2 days ago) with a new braking system and all was well.. at 350$ CDN IT HAD TO BE :cya:
no last night i take my car and notice i the pedal going down all the way down when i step on it hard enough..now my ABS doesn't work and i dont care that it does or not.. but the more i use it the badder it gets... if it aint the master cylinder then whats the problem.. oh and you can bet that im gonna have a talk with the shop about this... i paye to get things fixed.. not to change them for the fun of it.
anybody got an idea?

Perhaps there is something wrong with the module with all of the brake lines going into and out of it, in the front driver side part of the engine compartment (is that the proportioning valve?), That is where the ABS distributes the brake fluid to the wheels. That is my guess as to what it is.
Is the brake fluid level down? Also, perhaps they didn't bleed the brakes well when they changed the caliper, maybe that's causing the pedal to go to the floor.
