2000 LSE w/ ISC shocks

Looking for shock replacement after 75K miles. It seems that Monroe Sensatracs have been the recommended shocks for the Rodeo, however it would seem like folks on the forum had trouble installing those on the models with ISC. Apparently they don't fit. If that is the case can someone recommend an alternative to the stock shocks for a '00 Rodeo LSE with ISC?

There are reports floating around that ISC rear shocks are longer than non ISC rears. Not really sure how/why though!?!? To make matters worse, I dont think anyone has posted a solution to this. Try a search for "ISC" here & at planetisuzoo.com.

Aftermarket shocks will not fit. I found out the hard way after reading everywhere that its no problem. The front shocks were a good 4 inches short. I want to get the calmini lift kit but they cant even tell me if it will work.

Im not sure if the ISC has some different mounting points or just taller springs and longer shocks.

I just got a set of Rancho RS9000X and they fit like a charm. Wrachet wrench would have been an asset but I yanked the useless ISC and intalled them w/o any major issues. I got the shocks at Sears:

front - RS99214
rear - RS99179

Note: in the Sears catalogue it won't say that these will fit a Rodeo. I got these numbers from other 4x4 forums and apparently it's common knowledge that these parts will fit a Rodeo.

The truck feels like a whole different vehicle now. This was well worth it! Plus these shocks have 9 stiffness settings!

Were they the same length as the old ones then?? I used sensatracs replacement for the rodeo and they were a good 4 inches too short. I wouldnt mind getting some stiffer shocks now. How did you deal with the ISC light?

They were actually just right if not a bit longer and I think some folks use the same ones for lifted trucks too. The ISC light stayed on, not sure how to fix it :) I looked for a fuse that would deal with ISC only but no luck, I guess I'd have to disceonnect ISC somehow.
