Well, I picked up a few AMT Corvettes at Hobby Lobby for $4 each and I decided to throw one together as a stress releiver between the True Street Cobra and the Lightning. Boy was that a mistake, this particular AMT kit is about the worst I've ever built when it comes to fitment. I had to pull the pulleys off to clear the hood (there was literally about a quarter of an inch sticking up!!) No biggie, this is a shelf queen. It almost didn't get its engine!

This build took a total of three days, the paint didn't even get buffed (and it isn't going to) I know it's a 94 kit and the 93 is technically the 40th anniversary, but I like the color and I plan on throwing together a 50th to sit next to it. After the Lightning, the Trans Am, and the Cobra. And maybe the '69 Mustang... or the GT3 Porsche that's staring at me....

nice work for a quickie. i say yank the engine. glue the hood down and make it a curb side. Save the motor for a future project.....or build a stand for it
