lights out

I know this isnt a 3k question but it is a general one...

The other day i was driving this girlls audi A4 with her and we parked at Walmart went inside came out turned the car on.. the headlights or fogs wouldnt turn on, but the high beams would. Checked the fuses and all that, wasnt that. What else could it be??

I was shocked when all the fuses were good.. am i missing something??

i had the same thing happen in my vr6 passat but idk why it did it... it ended up fixin itself

my first guess would be the switch from your description...or maybe a relay under the hood.

Audi's electrical systems are very.........whats the word......testy!
