1987 rx-7

if you can please help.My girlfriends cluch pedel went to the floor.I replaced the slave and the master cyl,and it works now,but i tried to start it and it seems like the motor is locked up,starter is good and battery to.I tried rocking the car in gear but engine wont move.

so it doesnt turn?

Carbon lock? From a failing clutch system?

looks like you've broke smething in the bellhousing, check out if you can remove the tranny and see in there..

have you checked the nuetral safety switch? its a rectangular like thing at the top of the clutch pedal...behind it...have someone push that all the way in and then you turn the car...it might be the switch

I had a similar problem, but it happened while i was driving down the freeway, i got off an exit and all the sudden i had no clutch, it still felt the same, but it wouldn't disengage. I knew i had a little problem with my master cylinder, so after much problems rebuilt that in a gas station parking lot, and bled it. the problem happened once more, but then quit, was this a fluke deal or will it return to haunt me? sorry for the long post
