Hi all trying to help a buddy get his car goin. It is a 95 Grand Am with the wondderful Quad 4 dohc. I pull the plugs and they are wet so I know it getting fuel I checked and its getting spark and I did a compression test and they where all close around 125 so I asume that it that it didn't jump time or break the chain. This thing sounds like it cranks hard or a little slow is that how they are??Crank senser tests good What am I missing? Pulling my hair out . Any help would be great thanks OZ

Are you getting sparks on all four? As you know, Quad 4 engines does not have any spark plug wires. You have to lift the ignition coil housing while the ICM connectors is still plugged in and use some spare (known good) spark plug wires which allows you to test for sparks. The spark plug might be getting wet but the Fuel Pressure might not be enough.
Just make sure that the battery is still good. Failing battery will fail a load testing.
