what do you guys think

today i ran accross a 97 TA with 137,000 miles on it ls1 the guy is asking 4grand for it, off the back i know it needs plugs,wires,the outside looks good all but a scratch on the right side and the inside could use some work and i think it needs a manifold seal, i think thats what the guy told me i could be wrong but i know its a seal somewhere in that area. anyway do you guys think thats a good asking price for this car? my 96 rs camaro ran me 5400 but its loaded and it runs like a MF. what u think?

well.. the first shaky thing is an LS1 in a 97.. he either had a swap done or hes trying to play for for a fool...

yeah i wasnt to sure if that ls1 was supposed to be in that car im sure it was an ls1 though i think either im gonna just keep looking or test drive it and take it to my boys shop and have them do a shake down on it, they run a f-body shop so im sure they will get down to the bottom of it

if he swapped an ls1 in it would make the deal sweeter. the miles prolly wouldnt be a factor cause it should be a new/newer engine with less miles. however, i would be worried if the guy did the swap correctly or the caliber of work he did on the swap. all i can say is look into it more and try to get back to us with more info...

im going to go to the place 2morrow with my boy we gonna check it out and get down to the real deal with it, ill let u guys know.
