I have a 1994 chevy lt blazer 4.3lt. vortec v-6 and i have a whining noise in the rear by the fuel pump the fuel pump makes it's normal noise before i start the truck buy then after i start it the whining begins. and i checked the fuses just to make sure and they are good but i can't find the filter and i want to check that before i change the pump cause the truck stalls after it starts and it also hesitates when it accelerates need to find the fuel filter help me please.

The whining noise is probably a fuel pump working too hard to push fuel through a plugged filter.
Better get than fixed ASAP or you will wear out your pump.
It is that or your fuel pump is shot.
