92 z34 door handle problems

Help!!!! I just put in 2 replacement outside door handles on my z34. They are on the post. I can't seem to get the locks to work. My passenger side is now locked and won't unlock so the door won't open. The drivers side seems to be locked now and won't unlock. Please any advice would be appreciated! [email protected]

Not familiar with them, but did you drop the rods from the lock cylinder to the latch when you worked on them? Sometimes the retainers pop off when you twist or pull on the linkage.

I'm wondering if any1 knows where I could find a picture or drawings on the inner workings of the lock linkage inside the door? I'm thinking that is the problem. I have new locks and door handles (exterior). Thanx for your help.

ok stupid question, but did you get a new set of keys with the new door handles, or did u switch over your old locks.... just a thought there. but if not im betting that the retaining clips slid off and the rods fell. or, you have the rod improperly adjusted(the nuts are too loose and arent tripping the actual lock mechanism in the latch) well hope it helps...
