actually u dont need to drop the fuel tanks on rth gens becuase the pumps werent in tank pumps. jsut pull your back seat up and then a few bolts or screws and your at the pump its right in the center

wtf are you guys talking about. i guess none of you have ever changed a fuel pump on your car before.
i have changed my fuel pump, you need to drop the tank to get to the fuel pump. the back seat is only for the fuel filler gauge. the pump is on the back of the tank.
u guys shouldnt post shit and tell someone they are wrong when you are the ones who are wrong and have no idea what you are talking about and are just reading manuals and are reading manuals incorrectly

i learned this the hard way... u HAVE to drop the tank, its the same as the teg i did, if u notice... the one under the seats has wires going to it and only wires.... last time i checked, u cant transport gas thru wires... it needs hoses :)
Edit, also if u read this right, look at #1.... REMOVE FUEL TANK

YES!! You have to drop the tank.. That 3 screw plate under neath back seat is only the wireing to the gas gauge. The pump is at the rear driver side of the tank.
Took me in my driveway about 2 hours from start to finish to drop tank, replace pump, and reinstall.. The hardest part about the whole ordeal was swipping my credit card for the rediculoused priced fuel pump!!!!
Oh, word of advice, if this may be the first different fuel pump, expect to see rotted lines and any moving them around will probably damage them.. I wrecked one line, just replaced it with a rubber one.

so is civickiller right or everyone else??
fucking civickiller is always right. k well at least 99% of hte time im right.
watch the main fuel hard line, it has a botl on it. if the fuel line is rusted to the bolt then it will rip the fuel line, then you gotta replace the whole fuel line which is a bitch to do. trust me, i know from experience.
and to those :newbie: dont come on here and say some is wrong when infact you are wrong. it just makes yourselves look stupid and it pisses me off. why dont you guys actually go and read the manuals instead of just looking at pictures.
