Most of you know Im not a usual at making threads, but, i need this one. Just when I had made up my mind an about to pick up the phone an give RE a call an have them send my a 15"SX. Then Ascendant Audio comes around an fucks with my mind. So, Im thinkin, either (1) 15" SX off of a Nine.1 or. (1) 15" Avalanche :sly: or (2) Atlas 15's off the nine.1. I'd just like to hear some suggestions, and I got bored with no new threads to post on.

well over at sd, the avalanche is the new "talk of the town" and they did comparisons n stuff, i would say its worth a try because u can adjust the qts to fit your enclosure, seems like a nice driver

and not that i've heard either but from what i hear it should sound alot better than a SX

I'm just lurking in the background, I don't know enough about Asc to really give any useful insight. They do look like fun drivers though

GSteg is on several of the other audio forums, I've seen him around on SIN and ECA, I think he might also be on CA, but that's the one audio forum I'm not a member of so I really don't know. Haibane has left for ICIX, I'm on there occasionally but I normally don't post too much. Not sure what happened to the others.

Gsteg isn't into car audio as much as before I talk to him on AIM tho...haibane i think posts elsewhere, but he was on a BIG ED trip before he left.... and no the avalanches don't have the variable Q only the atlas series..... I've read a lot of reviews on various sites and people are loving these things.

hehe, there's a lot of drama everywhere, especially between ICIX and SD, that gets funny. I post on ICIX, CAF, ECA, SIN and head-fi under this name, then I'm on a few other forums (not car audio related) under different names.

I never have liked SD for some reason iunno why. I lurk at sound illusions just to see what nick(incriminator), chad(ascendant), Dan(u better know this one.....adire), dave(RE), marshall(visionary audio), Kyle(acoustic visions), and all those looked up to audio dudes.

I have an Integra, its a 4door so it has a trunk. You have a bad memory bumpin. lol. Rem. im more leanient <(spelling) on loudness than sq, thats y I was goin for the SX.

So you think i should off for an Avalanche instead of SX. Or, 2 Atlas?

i'm still into car audio. i just forgot all about this forum. sorry guys. lol.

as for ascendent audio, i'm not sure. I haven't heard the sub myself so i can't comment. Hopefully i can get one of my friends to buy one so i can play with it. LMAO!!

2 atlas 15's are gunna get louder and sound better then a single SX the question is do you have the room....... and yea I do forget b/c I reccomend so many ppl what to get and got like 50 ppl on AIM imin me about there car's so its hard to keep track.

I just ran across the thread on mounting an amp under the hood. I don't even want to ASK how he came up with this idea and how it MIGHT work. But hey, whatever floats your boat. If you like the idea of a million possibilites of total destruction of the vehicle and amp, go for it.

I can only fit about 30" wide, an around 33" deep

So im thinkin not enough for 2 ported 15's, barely for Sealed.

LMAO yea profilepower is such a dumbass..... we all want him to kill himself.... and whoever thought of mounting an amp under the hood is a complete idiot who needs to be shoacked with a good 14.4v shock.......... it get HOT under the hood..... amps need cool air so they can properly cool...... the amp will fry in no time under the hood unless its a DAMN good one....... some ppl just amae me at how dumb they can be....... I had a kid who though a 10w7 would beat 2 se15's ported off a nine.1...... what a dumbass..... he heard the system and shut the hell up..... he was lik OMFG how can it get that loud...... dumbasses.
