Left Headlight

Just bein curious because it wasnt really a big problem, but my left headlight lens on my '98 GTP just straight fell off one night and dont remember like hittin any bumps or anything, then the bulb got hot and it was cold outside and that busted. I was just wonderin if this happened to anyone else because it was just kinda outta nowhere and i didnt know if it happened to anyone else. I got it fixed tho, they were just supposed to send the lens itself for $65, but instead they messed up and sent a whole headlight unit for the same price and i was told those were normally like around $200, so i was happy about that

It is very common,they used some bad glue.

GM does not sell just the replacement lens.They just sell either the Capsule or the hole housing with side marker.

We have a 98 GTP, and that also happened to our right headlight. One day it was there, then suddenly it was gone. To this day we dont know where or when we lost it.

recently had the same problem, seems 97-2000 all had the bad adhessive, condensation builds up, pop goes the lens and so on. Did my research, seems you have to buy an after market assembly, no replacement lenses, found one on ebay for 65 bucks, not to bad considering...
