Hi gang..
I'm here again for another quetion about the transfer case, and bad CV joints..
If I just keep it in 2-wheel drive, will this have any effect.. even with the transfer case bogged up, does it make any difference..
I still have a slight bearing noise coming from underneath the car, even in two-wheel drive.. when I go to four-wheel drive, the bearing noise DOES NOT increase, I just get the thumping of the cv joints.
Thank you in advance for your assisance..

Your transfer case needs to be serviced NOW.
If you are feeling something , go have it checked out.
I am not going to give you excuses to not get the job done and put it off longer.
Get it checked out properly.

Drive line power is always going through the transfer case. and when in 4wd it transfers it to the front diff.
