94 lude, swapin in h22a, how difficult?

i have a 94' lude, i am currently saving all the $ that is necessary to sawp in an h22a possibly the Jspec version. I am not looking forward to paying $800-1200 to have this swap done. how difficult would it be to accomplish myself? i am mechanically inclined but not trained whatsoever, the chilton manual didnt look to hard?? well any input/advice would be awesome.
