even if it were under powered I think you would be much happier with the overall performance and quality of an integra over a civic any day.

not me.......
the 88 to 91 and 92 to 95 civic's are lighter. If you take that b18 and put it in a 88 to 91 civic i think you will have more fun. now don't get me wrong i love my integra.

But like I said OVERALL performance AND QUALITY. Thats means handleing, and durability and interior etc.
besides he didn't say anything about swapping or even upgrading performance. He just wanted to know which was a better car stock.

even though this is the integra forum as pointed out,we are biased. but we all know the reason why we have teg's and not civic's. stock vs stock the integra outweighs the civic in almost every department except for price. better handling, more power, better options interior wise. teg's are a bit more money upfront but, they still have a honda heart. that is why alot of civic owners want teg engines in their cars. and the weight issue is not a factor.
like take for instance a 90-91 teg does 130hp @ 6000 rpm and 121 lb/ft @5000 rpm. now take a civic 89-91 does 108hp @ 6000 rpm and 100 lb/ft @ 5000 rpm. now this is just a comparison of same years. but keep in mind the 92-93 teg 140hp @6300 rpm and 121 lb/ft @ 5200 rpm.
hope this helps? and if i left anything out just point out.
