Has anyone replace the engine mounts on 90-93 Accords? When replacing the sidemounts do you need to support you engine, while replacing the motor mounts? If you do need to support your engine while replacing the mounts what is the best way to do it?
Thanks

There's a whole procedure described in my Chiltons, having to do with the way to load the mounts correctly before tightening the bolts. I'd suggest a manual.

What chilton's manual do you have and on what page. I do not see it on my book.

Most likely u do have to support the motor, since u need to take the pressure off of the mounts to change them... get an engine hoist and pull it up so that the weight comes visibly off (the front wheels). then undo the mounts, lift the engine up more, switch them out, and drop it back in. Thats what I'm thinkin....though ive never done it.....

My manual is a hefty volume - about 2" thick, not like the skinny ones the parts stored usually carry.
