i have installed an intake kit on my 02 grand prix. i unpluged the mass airflow sensor that connected to the stock air box hose. there is no place on the intake kit for the maf to plug into. what should i do???? is that why the light is on???? also. if anyone knows any sites to look at grand prix products online? thanks

That is why the light is on. You may have to drill the intake and put a groment (sp) in the hole to hold the mass airflow sensor in place. Otherwise the light will stay on and the engine will not run properly. You can go to Andys Autosport, PFYC, ZZperformance and a host of others just search Pontiac Grand Prix Parts on the internet.

If your talking about the sensor that plugs into the fduct of the intake (tubing) then it is not the MAF sensor. That sensor is called the IAT, Intake Air Temp sensor. The MAF sensor is on top of the throttle body. On all the aftermarket intakes Ive seen there is a hole in the new tube and you simply pull the sensor and gromet out of the old stock tubing and reuse.
