89 integra intake fit a d15 with mods

Hey a' guys, i know it wont, but will a 89 integra intake manifold fit onto a d15 with some mods?? i can get ahold of a whole car that was hit from the side. Or should i just swap the whole engine over or will a d16a1 not work right with my hatch?? please let me know, thanks guys.

its really not worth it dude seriously. The d16a1 isnt a true D series to me bc none of the parts are interchangeable and the tranny in ur car wont bolt up to it. You can however swap a few parts off that engine to a DOHC ZC though like the head. But seriously that car is not worth it for any of the parts.

The head swap is a little easier said than done. You have to grind part of the motor mount bracket to get it to clear the head and you have to change the crank timing sproket as well. Ill get pics of were you have to grind later today

ok, never mind the swap or anything that i asked, but can i use the ecu, resister box, injecters, throttle body? also would the rods fit in a d15?? someone told me they would and they are stronger than stock d15 rods.
