at this shop they are charging me $1300 to swich my automatic to manual on my d16z6. I want to if it is a good price for it or can i get it cheaper. My automatic has a seal leak and my car wont go past 30mph and intead of having them fix the leak iam just going to swich the tranny. ive been wanting to swich it anyways.

You could probably get it done for cheaper, but that is how much I have also been quoted. $800 for parts and $400 for labor. Or it was the other way around...I don't remember. Anyhow, that was for a B18A cable tranny into a G2 Teg.

$1200 - $1400 sounds right.
id rather just through some xtra money and pick up a manual Bswap.

Having a more powerful B-series than having a manual d-series. :dunno:

its also more easier than trying to piece together a auto to manual swap. you will still need to piece together the shifter, center console and boot (nice to have but not necessary) for shifter, and a manual gauge cluster (unless you dont mind shifting gears and looking to see that your gauge cluster always stays in the park position :) ).
