After closing the choke set screw on the left side of the carburator,
how many 180 degree rotations do I back out to get the proper rpm
idle for cold weather? 3 to 4 turns floods the engine. If I back it out too much, the choke won't set. This is a 1984 Chev. Caprice 350. Thanks.

Opening the choke pin scew makes the gas mixture richer causing
flooding.Close the screw, then open it no more than 2 turns. Then
adjust it until the engine runs smooth.
