4th & 5th GEN tranny's

I have a 98 honda prelude and my auto tranny went out on me. So i was wondering if the 4th GEN auto tranny will fit and work?

Good luck getting an answer with that. I posted about the 4th gen's auto tranny a while back and have yet to recieve any answer to that question.

Yes, a 4th gen auto tranny will work. Beware that the auto trannies from the 4th gen are ALL h23, so the gear ratios will be different from your old h22 auto tranny.
