Street racing deaths . . .

In Oceanside, NY . . .
A stop light drag-race turns fatal as a Corvette and a Lamborghini Diablo face off at a stop light. On a two lane straight, both drivers launched unaware of the danger that would surface.
With the Vette in the right lane, the Lambo swerved out of the left lane to avoid a slow moving Cadillac only to find himself head on with a Volvo in oncoming traffic . . . both drivers were killed and their wives, passengers in both vehicles, were left injured.
Shortly after, the Vette driver crashed into something on the right side of the street. He survived and will be charged with manslaughter.
The Corvette's License plate reads: "LOV2XLR8" . . .

Funny how you just posted this and I just finished reading it in the newspaper. What I don't understand is this. You drive a Lamborghini Diablo, What do you need to prove??
It is unfortunate that an innocent person had to die because someone's head got the best of him. I think it is irresponsible for that person to do it. I think it's good that the lambo driver is dead. At least I don't have to worry about his dumb ass running into me. I don't care who doesn't like what I say but it's fuckin' TRUE!!
Secondly, I'm not going to stand here and act like I don't do it. I do, do it but I keep it to deserted areas where there is 0 traffic. The only person to get hurt would be my dumb ass. But to race in an area where you have other drivers, COME ON!! There is no way in hell you can predict what the other driver is going to do. And half the time the other driver, all he sees is a car coming on him fast and panics.
I knew the peeps were going to get an adrenaline rush and start doing stupid shit like peeling out in the parking lots and shit. Then, when legislature starts proposing laws to control what can be done to cars, everyone starts to cry about how unfair it is and what not. If you choose to do stupid shit, then don't bitch when they curtail things from you. It just proves to them that you are not responsible enough to handle that. I saw the movie on Friday and have to say it was a good movie. Now this happens and sure enough like day turns to night, the media is blaming the movie for the accident. Society is now going to blame any traffic accidents that involve racing on this movie. You know what happens next, parents start to complain to their head councils, who in turn complain to senators and any other governing body, then they go to congress and whatever else. Then the President signs a bill that states "Vehicles are no longer allowed to be modified in any way, shape or form".
Final words: People, let's be responsible and keep our heads together. Just because someone pulls up along side of you and revs his car, doesn't mean you have to challenge him back. You have one life to live, and to lose it over a stupid fuckin' race is pointless. There have been 3 deaths so far and it's circulating around the movie. I'm pretty sure something is going to come up where they end up either cancelling this movie or something. I would hate to have that happen over an ignorant few.
One last thing, if these words I say, you find insulting or offensive, it's probably cuz you're guilty of something in them. Learn from the mistakes of others.

i hate stupid people like that. last night i saw moulin rouge and all these stupid kids were haulin ass in the parking lot. if i were a cop i would sit right outside a movie theater and bust those morons because they deserve it. i dont care if im offending anybody because street racing is just plain dumb. if you want to race go to a dragstrip where you can legally race. or even better go to a track.
