mine stays lit too. it has been like that ever since i got the car. but the car has been wrecked b4 so maybe that messed up a sensor in the front... in the manual it says if it comes on to take it to the dealer.. we all know how much that would cost.... : \ .... but what exactly does it mean when its lit?.. will it not deploy if ur in a wreck or somethin??

well according to the little notice on the driverside visor it ses we have to get our airbags checked every 10 years and every 2 years there after at a dealer. i dunno about G35Turbo but our's are older and i havent gotten mine checked ever

im not sure if it will cause it to not work... but a inspector wont pass it with it on i know that.
true the dealer will cost alot but they are the ones who knows whats going on... and knwo what they are doing. when i got my vaulve guides replaced i took it to a dealer because they know exactly how to time it and what not...

Don't count on it.

First I'd take it to Autozone, and have them run the ECU for codes...it will probably say something about the airbags, but I don't know if the codes regarding airbags get any more specific. 2ndly, anyone who has a membership at 3si...could you do a search for this and report back with some info if you get the chance...I'll skim through some threads, but a search would be much more efficient.
Also I've never heard anything about a corelation between the downpipe and airbags, so I don't know what to tell you there.
But I definantly wouldn't take it to a dealership until I knew alot more, so my advice to you guys is to hold off until we get some more info, before you throw good money away.

I'll do a search over there.
