today i was driving home and i was going about 70 mph. then i feel this jerk or hesitation in the engine. i had my foot on gas when i felt this. then a few minutes later the check engine light came on and my car started to act like its not getting any gas and it died on me. so i pull over and try to start it and it kicks over for a second and when i give it gas it acts like it cant rev up and it dies. it did this 3 times on my way home today. and it did it once about a month ago. when it happened a month ago it started to act like it was dying for about 15 minutes then it died. any questions??? .

i checked my ecu and the red flashing light went up to 30 before i stopped looking at it. when i turned key over it flashed once real fast then every 3 seconds it would flash again...??

sounds like fuel pump.. or main relay. I had a simular problem with my car, turned out to be fuel pump. One day it could work great, and then ext just die.. its one of those things you can't predict when it will die.. for example. the first time my car did that, my mechanic hit the gas tank where fuel pump is and it worked fine for a month after that, until it totally died..

anyone have any opinion on a good fuel pump or will a factory one work good. im planning on some mods soon to engine for more power, do they have a good aftermarket one or just stick with a regular one??

factory is good but probably expensive.

check walboro they have 255lph and 190lph which is close to stock
its also cheaper then oem pumps
