yes im wondering how hard it is to replace a water pump on my van?i have a repair manual but it dont give much insight on how to fix it.the pulley is loose on it and as far as i can tell it cannot be tightened up any.need some advice on this.

never replaced one on a villager yet. but on most other cars the pulley comes off the pump and reused with the new pump. mines a 95 but should be same. ill look at it and let you know something tonight.

It's a big pain in the @ss! really tight access. Need to remove all belts(except timing belt),crankshaft and water pump pulleys and lower timing chain cover. Not Fun!

Not Fun! yes it is,i got all the screws off of timing belt cover except for 1 and it is almost behind a pulley and u cant seem to get the pulley off to remove the timing belt cover!!!!!!!!!

i have gotton the upper timing belt cover off,now im having a problem with the lower cover.i only want to loosen the crankshaft pulley so i can get the lower cover off,anyone that can help me with this,it would be helpful.

If you manage to get to the water pump you might as well change the belt nosense doing all that work twice. I suggest you call a few friends for help physically.
