Gang Wars

I seem to have completed all the missions and am now just engaged in endless gang wars. Is that the way the game goes. Do you have to make all the red teritory green before you can continue with the missions??

if you're at the end, and you're back to Los Santos (after complete the casino missions in Las Venturas) Sweet will tell you to take overo land, you have to control a certain amount BEFORE youcan finish his missions (and in turn the game). You are 2 or 3 missions from the last mission, so make it last.

Take over idlewood as well, first (just up from Groove Street), just take over as much as you can.

The mission where you have to take over idlewood is hard, it took me a few goes, but once you complete the mission, save your game, and go back to the same place (up from grove street, as i was saying earlier) and take over more.

I have completed taking over the gang territories, and they just keep coming under attack. I don't know when it ends. Once you take over everything, there isn't anything to do except screw around. I guess you just have to take out the girlfriends, find all the horseshoes and oysters, and just wait till something happens.

But where is the flight school and the helicoptors. Also I havn't even opened up the rest of the vert. california. There must be more too it. Right?

If you're that far in the game, you ought to know where the flight school is. You own an abandoned airstrip outside of Las Venturas, which is where the flight school is. What is vert. california? There is no area in the game like that.

ok now i´ve got it. I thought that 8 track was just a fun place to go. But it´s a mission you have to complete to continue in the game. Duhh.

I spent two weeks having gang fights. It was no fun.

If you cross the water and get four stars, then you really are not far in the game. The bridges are blocked, so you can't get to the other islands that way. You have a long way to go before you get to the flight school. In your previous posts, you said you beat all the missions, and now you say you're not very far? Which is it?

There doesn't seem to be any reason to. But it helps a little bit to have some gang back up when taking over territory. First aim at a guy in green and press the right anologe button. Then they will follow you around. I ussally only get three dudes because that is all that fits in a four door car. If you get five guys you just end up running around and it's hard to find a good fight.

I usually walk around and start gang wars, it works better that way.
The yellow territory is a bitch to take. I only tried it once, but now I'll have some backup.

Hopefully they don't start shooting at cops and get them involved with the war. Cops always screw up things and get in the way.

They will shoot at cops but only if you have a wanted level of at least one star.

The way this works is the same way any gang works. Walk up to your allies and point your weapon at them, then hit UP on the D-pad. This should make him join you. You can only have up to 3 in a car, though.

I agree, i made 10 mill there, took over an hour, but i did it!

Once you finish all the storyline missions you have to take over ALL the rivial gang territory for your territory to stop coming under attack.

All around your hood (purple [Ballas] and yellow [Los Santos Vagos]) needs to be taken over, then there is a little more at the Verona Beach area to take over and then some in the Temple/Mulholland area to take over.

Over in San Fierro's Palisade's area some Ballas have a few blocks where they roam around and across the Golden Gate Bridge at the Bayside Marina the Vagos have taken over some territory there.

Once it all belongs to you you will never get gang wars again primarily because you've completely wiped the other gangs out!
