well i got the first round of putty done. as you can see the front is a lot lower than the sides so i will have to make some side skirts. as for the rest of the body kit im not sure. for wheels im thinking te37s from a jgtc skyline, revell enzos, or revell Z06. but id really like to use the volks from my sig. does anyone know wheels that look similar?

Some wheels that kind of look like the ones you want that I can think of are the AMG Wheels. I dont know from which series Mercedes though.

umm ya, the 65 series AMG. i dont think they make it in a 1/24th model. i was looking around my parts bin and cut the hood out of a revell porsche gt1 and grafted that on too. it looks very similar to this, exexpt mine wont be CF.

If i recon, thats Bondo Spotty Glazing putty? Its not recomended for Mass areas such as yours. Tends to crack, fall apart, crumble if used to much in one area.
Its looking good though, keep it up.

idk, im using a all purpose putty that i got from home depot, lol. im only using the bonda cream hardener. iv used it a couple times in VERY large areas like widebody fenders for a drag civic and have never experianced cracking or crubleing.

You might have some fixing to do, the bumper looks a little too far to the right? Other than that i like it, ya i gotta agree, get better putty, the tamiya quick type expory putty is the best.
and...
Are you going to make it look like the wide body topsecret kit?

y the hell does that thing have a GT-R badge? did they drop in a RB26?

aN4rK1 you right, i was looking at it this morning before i checked the thread and noticed it. its really not as bad as the pics shows. my biggest fit problem now is where the right front fender meets the front bumper. they really dont line up. with the head light in theres a gap.
i have got a lot of progress done and ill take pics when i get home from school.

i got so more work done. the hood and bumper are pretty much done and just need some final sanding. for wheels i havnt decided. i think i will probably go with Z06 wheels but also have sets of Enzo, TE37s, and Prodrive P1s. which do u guys think look best.

I like the second set of wheels. the third set makes it look like some sort of nascar or something, and the first set is just to small.
it is looking really good, but, in my opinion there is something that is just not right about the front end. it looks like it has to much material between the new bumper and the existing body. looks kinda droopy.
it is looking good though and just ignore my remarks, as long as you like the results, then more power to ya! that is what it is all about. and you have more nerve than me, I couldn't chop up a $35 curbside kit.
keep up the good work!!
