56k warning, I have cable and it still took a few mins of downloading per video, but it was worth it...tons of very sweet cars and trucks. That blue silverado is just ridiculous! Nice vids.

11 sec my a$$ Jim(Parish) has a best of 10.91 right now, and that was with the stock 6.0L, turbo, and 75shot.

Guess what though, guys, he just got the built 408 in, and he's shooting for 9s. Jim is a great guy and he knows his stuff. He was featured in HotRod magazine twice last year. He's still running on stock suspension and stock wheels/tires.

He has tons of videos making tons of "sports cars" look stupid.

Above post.

I'll let you guys know when he gets it back to the truck with the new setup. You'll get to see a new body style Z71 in the low 10s for sure, hopefully 9s. :evillol:

wow you really don't realise how fast those trucks go until you see them race against a oridinary car like the mach1.

but that supra was bad ass. i'm glad to see that the imports actually represented pretty good there, that wrx, turbo hatch, and supra did some damage.

question about that truck though, that thing is only stable till like 120mph? you can't really race that thing on the top end on the highway from like 70-150mph? esp if there is a slight curve in the road? it looks extremely unstable.

It's as unstable as any fullsize Z71 I guess. It is on stock suspension for the time being. Another reason it looks pretty unstable is because he has the rear springs clamped down to reduce on the dip effect out of the hole. He likes it to leave out level. I'm not sure but I think he may have the front sway bar removed as well. I know I always take mine off at the track. He built the truck to run the 1/4. I guess it is probably stable alittle over 120mph, since his trap speed in the 1/4 is higher than that. :iceslolan
A truck like mine would probably be a better candidate for high speed runs than his(lighter, lower center of gravity, better tire setup) Mine still feels extremely stable well over 120mph.

seems like waay too much of a compromise to run that kind of setup, but hey that is still i damn fast as truck, it just looks weird to see soemthing that big move so damn fast.
