BOV's

anyone recommend upgrading from the stock BOV to aftermarket? i know that if you change it then you run rich and other things can go wrong, what are the appropriate steps to take?

some people like them some dont some say that it helps the turbo spool faster if you leave it returning to the intake plus it runs less rich, but the same amount of people say that its not gonna hurt it....most turboed cars have atmospheric BOV so i cant see it being that bad for the motor...but u can also buy an aftermarket BOv that returns to the intake the same as stock...so basically its who u want to listen to

Yeah, it's not really worth it unless you just want a noisemaker. Until you've done some serious modification to the engine and turbo, the BOV is just a waste of your hard-earned cash. If you want it to sound cool, put an exhaust on it.
