Coustic amp..

ok heres the deal.. i just bought a Coustic 601SE today..

150 wrms x2 @ 4 ohm
300 wrms x2 @ 2 ohm
600 wrms x1 @ 4 ohms bridged

now heres the thing.. i was wondering how good of an amp it is.. havent heard much on this forum about coustic.. i got it for $200.. from a dealer.. one year warranty all that jazz. (looks like it has some good features, do a search on the amp if you are curious) BUT.. the one i got was opened and was scratched.. so im taking it back thursday for a new one.. should i just get my money back or is it an ok amp for now?..

heres another thing.. im getting a 15" comp vr tomorrow
(super cheap like $100, replacing it with probably a couple SE 15s after summer, but for now, i just NEED bass i cant take it any longer and mostly concerned with SPL.. but i know ill want SQ soon)

.. and I was planning on running it off of this amp. (its a 500 rms sub). however, like i said before, this is just for some temporary bass, so ill prolly get a much better amp in the future. meaning, i was hoping from there, i could just sell the sub cheap and keep this amp. would it work pretty well for some components? id just like to think this temporary system wont be a waste of money and i could at least hold on to the amp (that is, if its a decent amp)..

just throw out some thoughts, sorry for the long post, but just had some thoughts i wanted cleared up.

how much for the comp VR and coustic isn't too bad but for that price u could get a lot better stuff.
