idling a little high

well when i first started my rs after the engine swap it idled normally, around 900 rpm. then after my little problem with the coolant sensor it is now idling around 1500 rpm. its either a pvc valve plugged up or my rpm guage is off. last time i started the car i had to smack the dash to get the tach to work.

well if you had to smack it its probably your gauge man

anything i should do to it. im planning on replacing it with a z28 guage cluster.
