Air/defrost problem

I have a 2000 S10 ZR2. When heater or AC is engaged I can not get any air to my feet or to defrost. Have plenty of air coming from dash vents. How do I locate the problem????? Help please!!!

Probably either the selector switch, or the diverter door.
