How do I remove the radiator from a 2001 Taurus to put a new one in?

go buy a haynes repair manual, around 15 bucks, and it will show you how.

i replaced my 99 radiator in nov, lotta hidden bolts, but it finally came out. mine came out the bottom, maybe yours unloads from the top, much easier that way.

took me not knowing what i was doing a full weekend, had to find a special tool to get the transmission lines off the intercooler.

Good luck

I need to replace the radiator on my dad's 97 taurus. I have the haynes manual for the car, and it says i have to take off the bumper, lights etc to get out the radiator. Is there any way to get it out without taking the front end apart? What tool did you need to get the tranny cooler lines off? thanks i appreciate it.
