New To the Eclipse scene......

Hey all, whats up? Well I usually hang out in the civic forums, so I know hella lot about civics.....but i know jack-shit about Eclipses.......Well, I was thinking about buying cars today and I started thinking about Eclipses. The only thing I know about them is that I like 2nd Gen (cuz 1st and 3rd body suck ass) and that GSX is the way to go. I was wondering if you guys could mebbe give me a list of diffrent trims, what hp they have stock, and price for each in good condition. Thanks a lot guys!

I see GSXs for sale for around 15,000

......GS-T....thats a new one to me...it has the same 210 hp 4wd engine as GSX right? so whats diff. about it?

The GS-T is front wheel drive:)

RS - SOHC motor 140hp - fwd
GS - DOHC motor 140 hp - fwd
GST - DOHC turbo 210hp - fwd
GSX - DOHC turbo 210hp - awd

Ive been told that the GST is bette for street racing, and the GSX is better for the track.

but with awd you lose horsepower because it had to go to all the wheels..

The GS and RS had the same motors.The Eclipse RS and GS feature color-keyed bumpers, wheel covers and a rear defroster. The GS offers premium value packages including an alarm system, leather seating and a premium sound system.

gsx get hella good launches but they weight more but i would go with the gsx im actually going to be getting one pretty soon

rs and gs are weak they have the same engine as a neons, stratus, and avengers.

throw a turbo in the gs and then tell me if there weak. you can get a turbo for a gs for less than $2000.
