7m transmission(s)?

i just got a '86 supra with a 7mge and im looking around for a 7mgte to swap in there and i found quite a bit of engines but i am having trouble finding a transmission to go with it. i came across a site that had two different trans for the turbo and the n/a...whats the difference?

my question is do i need to change out the transmission or can i still run the transmission from the 7mge which still works great? and what would i have to do to it if i can use the same trans?
any input would help. thanks

On a MKIV supra, the n/a tranny will not hold up to the turbo motor. The tranny is not built to hold the boost. I would figure that the 7m n/a tranny would be the same but I'm not sure on that. I would go ahead and sell or trade the tranny if you can and buy a built 7m tranny or the turbo tranny just to be safe. But someone who knows 7m's more than me. Good luck.
